Feminine dreams of romance and the future (bearing in mind that the woman doesn’t seem to think much of her man). The title is a quote from A Room with a View—the heroine is dreaming of heroes and gods, which she describes cynically as “the nonsense of schoolgirls.” I identified with both aspects.
